About Us
Sara & Eleonora
We met in Sri Lanka, at a full moon ceremony.
Two Italian souls, living parallel lives in different parts of the world.
We surfed together, practiced yoga side by side, and felt an instant, effortless connection.
Months later, life brought us back together in Nicaragua, and after dreaming with our eyes wide open, we started working hard to create our first yoga and surf retreat.
That’s how Fluir was born.
From a friendship, from flow, and from trusting the timing of life.

Sara
Yoga Teacher & Retreat Guide
Growing up in Italy, I studied languages in Berlin and from there life led me through Spain, Portugal, Sri Lanka, and many corners of the world, always curious to learn from local communities and their way of living.
For years I taught in high school, a chapter I loved deeply. Guiding, inspiring, and connecting with my students made me feel truly alive.
With time, I felt the call to live closer to nature, and settling in Playa Maderas became my way back to myself.
Today I teach yoga and surf, helping people reconnect with their body, their breath, and the ocean.

Sara
Yoga Teacher & Retreat Guide
Originally from Italy, Sara’s path has been shaped by movement, travel, and a deep respect for local cultures. After studying language in Berlin, she lived and taught across Europe, Sri Lanka, and Central America, learning from the communities she moved within.
Sara is a certified Yoga Alliance teacher with 4+ years of teaching experience and has facilitated over a dozen retreats in Nicaragua. She has taught yoga in Germany, Sri Lanka, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua, with her approach informed by continued study in breathwork, meditation, immersive practices, and a Vipassana retreat.
With years of experience as a surf instructor, Sara brings a deep understanding of the relationship between ocean awareness, presence, and flow. Surf lessons during the FLUIR Soul & Surf Retreat are led by trusted and vetted local surf instructors, allowing Sara to support guests in integrating the surf experience into the wider rhythm of the retreat.
Based primarily in Playa Maderas, Sara weaves yoga, surf culture, and ceremony into spaces that invite reconnection — with the body, the breath, and the natural flow of life.
Eleonora
Travel Designer
Born and raised in Sicily, I’ve always had my heart turned toward the sea and the freedom of open horizons.
After six years in London, I realized I was craving a life that felt more aligned and connected to nature. A long journey through Asia and Central America made everything clear: travel wasn’t just something I enjoyed, it was my way of understanding the world and reconnecting with myself.
Today I split my time between Bali, Central America, and my beloved Sicily, designing experiences rooted in presence, nature, and soulful exploration.

After seven years living in London, where she completed a Master’s in Illustration and worked creatively, Eleonora realized she was craving a life more aligned with nature. A long journey through Asia and Central America made everything clear: travel wasn’t just something she enjoyed, it became her way of understanding the world and reconnecting with herself.
She now works as an independent Travel Designer, creating custom, experience-led journeys for individuals and small groups in destinations she knows intimately, guiding each journey from initial concept to on-the-ground details .Her work is shaped by years of slow, immersive world travel, with a focus on local relationships and lived experience rather than tourist routes.
Today, Eleonora splits her time between Bali, Central America, and her beloved Sicily, designing experiences rooted in presence, nature, and soulful exploration. Hosting surf and yoga retreats through FLUIR is a natural evolution of her path, bringing together movement, creativity, travel, and human connection into a thoughtfully curated journey that honors place, people, and rhythm.

Our Mission & Vision
At Fluir, we offer more than a retreat. We create an environment where people can reconnect with their bodies, their breath and the natural world.
Through movement, surf, yoga, mindful rituals, and the energy of the ocean, we guide each guest into a slower, more intentional rhythm.
Our mission is to awaken presence, inspire clarity, and help you return to your natural flow.
Fluir was born from countless conversations on the beach at sunset, dreaming of a space where people could disconnect from the noise of daily life and reconnect with what matters, with nature, with community and with themselves.
